- Covering the angle of the shot
1. Jump as high as you can at about 8m.
2. Stretch out both hands
3. Cover the shooting angle
4. Force the shooter to go for the further corner (this helps prolong the distance of the shot and hence gives your keeper a slightly longer time to react to the shot)
Remember to be brave. Square the body and not twist.
Anticipate but don't assume.
9m Shots with defender & Pivot (Jamie, Grace and Wee Wee)
- Pivot acts either as a shooting or blocking option.
- Splitting away from the defender
- Blocking out legally
Jamie: Try to quicken your shots and not be on the floor! :)

- Shooters need to approach the defenders with the intention to shoot
- Then you can draw your defenders
- That way you can either pass it off to your pivot for a easy score and/or still be ready for the 9m shot.

Syaz: Try to land softly on both feet. That way you will not be putting too much pressure on your knees.
